This trust was established in 1981 for general charitable purposes. The trust's aims are 'to support all worthy orthodox Jewish causes' and it meets these objects by making grants mainly to Jewish education and religious organisations both in the UK and abroad.
In 2007/08 the trust had assets of over £54 million and an income of £11 million. Grants were made totalling £4.1 million.
The largest grant again went to an organisation called TET (£725,000). Beneficiaries of other large grants included: Asser Bishvil Foundation (£287,000); Chevras Oneg Shabbos-Yomtov (£227,000); and Friends of Mir (£225,000).
Beneficiaries of smaller grants included: CML (£98,000); Toimchei Shabbos Manchester (£37,000); British Friends of Kupat Hair (£25,000); Purim Fund (£10,000); Beenstock Home (£5,000); and Zoreya Tzedokos (£1,800).
