How freelender supports Clubs and Societies

Page history last edited by Paul Crosland 14 years, 7 months ago

This page is being overseen by the Networking and Campaigning group

It is envisaged that a later release of freelender.org will enable people to set up clubs and socities (ie groups of friends/trusted individuals to whom they are even more willing to lend stuff to). Thus perhaps you will tick as you add items, whether you are willing for it to be seen (as available) only by those in your club. (The responsibility for adding this functionality is with the Website Development Group)

Meanwhile, a Bristol Film Club is experimenting with bringing in (on film nights) DVDs to lend to each other.

There are a number of ways in which freelender.org will support this happenign with maximum effectiveness, and below we can type up how that happens:

Firstly two sheets are created:

Lenders sheet:

Name of Lender Phone Freelender name (or email) If any DVD's that you've brought along are not on freelender then please list them here If DVD not on freelender, value of DVD to you is: Expecting to attend the next film club? If not, other suggested route to collect back film?

Borrowers sheet:

Name of Borrower Phone Freelender name (or email) DVD borrowed Name of lender Expecting to attend the next film club? If not, other suggested route to return film?

This is available as an editable document on Google Spreadsheets here
