The Proposal is that the guidelines for preference of 'power with' working practices be reviewed by the Project Steering Group alongside the Ubuntu Code of Conduct - http://freelend.pbworks.com/How-we-work-together#CodeofConduct and a hybrid passed back to the Community Conflict Transformation Group for their approval.
7. When a request for an item comes in, what advice to be given to the borrower as to how to arrange the lending? eg "Please indicate to borrower how they can obtain the item egs: 1) providing a phone number for them to make arrangements with you, or 2) suggesting a convenient couple of times, dates and your address. 3) suggesting a drop-off point where you would prefer to leave the item (eg reception desk at your place of work), 4) stating that you don't yet have enough basis on which to give out personal info and suggesting another way forward, 5) asking them to bring whatever proof of identity/address would give you a sufficient basis to lend (like the library does) and/or requesting a deposit."
